Damp patches, damaged plaster and salt deposits near the base of an internal wall can indicate rising damp, but the cause should be assessed before treatment begins. Where a chemical damp proof course is suitable, cream is injected into the mortar course to form a moisture-resistant barrier in brick, stone or masonry walls.
